Elemental

I want to float in frothy waves and dance under the moonlight clad only by sky. Slip into secret pools and hide behind lily pads. Nothing but sun and salt on my skin and hair tangled with flowers.

I am desperately waiting to be free again. To belong to the wind and the sun, comforted by the moon and her tides.

If I could be any mythical creature, I'd be a water nymph, a Nereid or an Oceanid. Lure men into the watery depths or frolic along the beach as one of Calypso's companions. Seashells and seaweed in my long tangled hair and sand and saltwater on my skin.

I'm very tired of winter, and I desperately want to visit the beach.

P.S. Veryvery sorry for my absence. I was getting so good at posting! I spent almost all of Friday in the ER, and I think that sums up why I've been gone.
