I'm his Silver Lining, but he's nothing good for me.

"And I was your silver lining
High up on my toes
You were running through fields of hitch-hikers
As the story goes

Hooray hooray
I'm your silver lining
Hooray hooray
But now I'm gold"
-Silver Lining by Rilo Kiley

He's so damn bad for me... it hurts. But in such a good way.

Sweet Thoughts

I want to be Queen of the Pond and I want to capture the castle.

I survive off of dreams, sun, nectar and imagination.
What sweet thoughts these are.

Masks

I hurt all over. It's ok though. You wear a mask and live through others beliefs about you.

Songs and Sprinklers in the Sun

I stayed home from school today sick. I went out while my dad watered the backyard. Our dog locked us out. It is a long, strange story.

The weather cleared my head. It reminded me so much of spring, with the sun and the damp grass. I love Texas when it's days like these. February and I was out in shorts.

My dad and I sang songs for two hours out in the sun until my mom came home and let us in.

Feeling

It's so much easier when it's fake and you only feel what you want to feel.
I feel very mushed up inside. Worse then ever before, because I am normally quite tangled.

February and Fairytales

"Will he love me by February 14th?"
"No."
"Why not? I'm lovable!"
"Yes, but not by February 14th."
"Suppose I live in a fairytale?"

Tangled

I'm feeling ohso sentimental today. Actually, all weekend I've been all tangled in my emotions.

It is quite tiring. Perhaps, I need a hobby besides reading and thinking. And thinking and reading. And feeling. But it would be even more tiresome without those things.

Lovely loverlies get butterflies and love.

nymphs, nereids and drowning girls

pictures from weheartit

If I could be any mythical creature, I'd be a water nymph, a Nereid or an Oceanid. Lure men into the watery depths or frolic along the beach as one of Calypso's companions. Seashells and seaweed in my long tangled hair and sand and saltwater on my skin.

I'm very tired of winter, and I desperately want to visit the beach.

Love & Butterflies, hope you're surviving flu season!

P.S. Veryvery sorry for my absence. I was getting so good at posting! I spent almost all of Friday in the ER, and I think that sums up why I've been gone.

Post Cards and Promises

So, I'm going to be a very bad blogger and not take pictures of all the lovely gifts I got for Christmas. I wore my new boots for the first time yesterday. It really wasn't cold enough, but I don't care.

Anyway, I'm going to post one of the best things out there: post-secrets.

(maybe, even a goddess?)

Love and Butterflies, my minxes.
I love the word minxes...

P.S. I've got several new ideas for posts to put on here soon.
P.P.S. I watched 28 Days Later last night, and I'm not much into actors (well, who am I kidding? I have crushes on lots...) but Cillian Murphy has got to be the most beautiful man ever. Its really not fair.
