Post Cards and Promises

So, I'm going to be a very bad blogger and not take pictures of all the lovely gifts I got for Christmas. I wore my new boots for the first time yesterday. It really wasn't cold enough, but I don't care.

Anyway, I'm going to post one of the best things out there: post-secrets.

(maybe, even a goddess?)

Love and Butterflies, my minxes.
I love the word minxes...

P.S. I've got several new ideas for posts to put on here soon.
P.P.S. I watched 28 Days Later last night, and I'm not much into actors (well, who am I kidding? I have crushes on lots...) but Cillian Murphy has got to be the most beautiful man ever. Its really not fair.

Diana Called and Said

----------------------------------------------
I asked for a Diana+ camera for Christmas. I love how ethereal and dreamy it looks. Hopefully I'll be able to feel confident enough to start uploading my own work instead of subtly stealing others and reposting. I might do a part two on Diana+ film. I no where near went through all of the flickr search. More wonderful Diana+ photographers below:

I've been brooding a lot lately. I'm rather tired of being ill all the time. I have to go and get another heart monitor at Texas Children's tomorrow. It's a long story.

I feel worse for my mother then I do for myself. I have no appetite and her patience wears thin as I rarely eat. I sleep but awaken tired. I get exceedingly restless, but I'm not aloud to leave the house alone. I could faint or have an asthma attack and who would find me in the forest? My mother does have reasons to worry; it has happened before. I came back feverish from the walk home and nearly fainted at her feet. I spent the rest of the weekend on the couch, exhausted.

Until I can run free once more, I do so in books and movies. It is a fair substitute.

Love and Butterflies, my lovely dreamers...

Through the Windows

I have the soul of a poet, but none of their patience.

All I Want for Christmas is...

So, I am greedy, spoiled only child. Every year my mama asks me to make a Christmas list and I do, and I get some things that I want and then I get a few surprises. I did all of my list-looking over the internet, so I wanted to share my finds.

Embroidered Tulle Skirt from Free People

Chiffon Crinkle Tu Tu from FP
I love this skirt in pewter, but it didn't come in my size. Plus, I own those black tights. I will happily settle for the purple though.

We Dream in Colour Begonia Necklace from Urban Outfitters
This necklace reminds me of lily pads floating on still water.

East of the Sun Charm Necklace from UO

Two Lips Warrior Buckle Boots from DSW

I finally found boots I like! I'm rather fond of the old feel of these. And the detailed metal buckles are so unique. I overlooked the leather lining (poor cow, please forgive me!)

I finished my Christmas shopping for all my friends. It's a miracle really. I went to Sephora and I was able to find a gift for all six of my friends. There are two gifts I'm rather excited about.

So my best friend, E, wanted either Britney Spears Fantasy or Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I couldn't afford $60-$70 or whatever it was for Daisy, so I was extremely excited when I saw this necklace that has the solid version of the perfume in it. I'm hoping she likes it!

My other friend, R, wanted one of the Harajuku Lovers Perfume from Gwen Stefani. They're so cute, so I didn't mind buying it for her.

It's so funny because I'm not much of a perfume person (I'm asthmatic) but I got almost all of my friends perfume or smelly stuff.
