idyllic

I've picked a new name! It's only taken me how many days? So I've chosen idyllic. It fits perfectly.

I was having an anxiety attack in my history class while reading about hippies. I saw the word idyllic and thought, my goodness, that's a wonderful word. And so, now everything is idyllic.

And if I could choose a mascot, it would be a deer. They seem to live in a rather idyllic world, don't they? Doe-eyed innocence and gracefulness.

Are we Human or Are we Dancers?

I desperately miss ballet! I go each summer religiously and get back into great shape and improve my technique enormously. Then school rolls around and I'm too tired or sick or bogged down with homework. So, each summer, it's like beginning again.

I've been trying to start stretching in my free time to get my muscles back in shape before I head back for the summer session. Hopefully, I'll have some muscle memory and can jump up a level or two. Is it too much to hope that senior year will be an easy, floaty year and I'll actually be able to have a life outside of school??

Dear Diana

So, while I've been exploring new names, I finally got around to uploading my first shots with my Diana Camera! They were test shots for the most part, as I was trying to experiment with lighting and the different settings. I'm impressed with them, however, as I was frightened that they might not turn out at all!

Enjoy!

What We Call Ourselves

I've been contemplating a new title for this blog, recently. 'what we have here is a dreamer' is just too long and unoriginal... While I still love The Virgin Suicides, I just don't think the title reflects everything I put here.

Here's the titles I have so far:
1. Bittersweet
2. Love & Butterflies
3. DreamCatcher

The list could go on and on. I have all sorts of words tumbling out of my mouth and floating from my fingertips all the time. I would ask for a vote, but nobody reads anything here except me. Which is fine. It's like my own little corner in the giant webs of the internet.
